Dear Joe Scarborough,
I thought we were friends. My husband and I began every day watching your show. You were one of us. We also attended the University of Alabama. (THE UNIVERSITY) My husband attended Law School and I graduated in the College of Education and began my Masters in History there. We bleed Crimson and White. ROLL TIDE!
We thought you shared our Southern Conservative values. We thought your character could withstand the onslaught of liberalism, though we were concerned when your first marriage did not work but hoped you would be happy in your second. After all, there are four children looking to their father to be a role model.
At first there was an interesting relationship between you and Mika because you challenged her liberal bias. Pat Buchanan was a regular. Soon, however, it appeared that Mika had her hand up your back with the two of you pulling an Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy act. You began to talk just like all the other media whiz kids who could not come up with an original phrase.
Your friend, Donald Trump, accepted your invitation to your show and you enjoyed the notoriety. And then, you turned on him. I hate to say it, but it looks like you left your honor on the other side of the Mason Dixon Line.
Apparently, your relationship with Mika was more than professional. She has introduced you to the pantheon of Liberals and you have come under their spell. All of the Media exists in a STEPFORD MEDIA situation since everyone daily regurgitates the same mantra. The man of the people North Florida sent to Washington succumbed to Potomac Fever.
Or it could be just a midlife crisis where you are pretending with your band to be your children's age with Mika as your groupie and both of you superstars of the Left. You even dress alike now. Cute.
It is a shame when adults can't live up to the responsibilities of adults of a certain age just when children need their parents to be there as a role model, a real parent and not a competitor. How can you possibly hold yourself out as a moral arbiter of anyone else? How can the two of you presume to sit in judgement of anyone?

Give me a break!
Regardless of your pontificating on TV, what would be your answer to protecting American children, your own included? How can you assure us that terrorists are not among those coming into this country illegally? How can you assure us those children did not come with traffickers pretending to be custodial adults?
Despite Trump admin crackdown, illegal immigration on border increased in May
The number of immigrants caught trying to enter the U.S. illegally rose 2,000 in May to more than 40,000.

And as for no borders, are you really okay with children being trafficked to be used as sex objects and organ donors?

But you see, that was under President Obama.
Now President Trump must deal with these conditions, the opposition of the Democrat Party and the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, the STEPFORD MEDIA.

It was Hillary who colluded with Russia, selling the US out by selling 20% of American uranium to Russia, by colluding with Russia with the discredited "Dossier". Or does the STEPFORD MEDIA not let you consider anything but what Mika tells you? Call up Pat Buchanan for a discussion instead of the echo chamber you have chosen to live in.
When our President has been removed by whatever means and taxes go up, the economy tanks, illegal immigrants vote and use all of our social services; trash, needles and excrement fill our streets and law enforcement has been so demoralized and demeaned that they give up; our Constitution rewritten to fit the image of the Democratic Socialists so that free speech and the right to bear arms no longer exists; all of our schools indoctrinate children that America is evil and White People are all racist and want to enslave others; that Western Civilization is the cause of all evils and not the source of our Freedoms; close down ICE and allow MS13 to spread to all of our towns and cities-- then you will be happy?
You call the Deplorables "stupid" and "incompetent." I live in Panama City. Should you run for anything in Florida, I would probably be one of your constituents. You say that I am "openly racist" because I believe in legal immigration and getting a handle on MS 13. How would you like your Kate to be cut to pieces like the daughters of those parents on Long Island or killed by an illegal alien like Kate Steinle in California.
Have you no backbone? What does it benefit you to be a male version of Mika?
To prove your self-loathing Southern credentials must you spout the Connecticut Democrat mantra that if you support Trump, you are a racist?
After Charlottesville you jumped on the bandwagon and said, according to “POLITICS

Joe Scarborough on defending Trump: “if you support him, you are” racist
That has become a favorite accusation of yours because, I guess, since you are from North Florida you must be an expert on racism. From the way your slavish panel walks in lock step with the two of you, I assume you have achieved your self-hating white status. What a role model for your children.
Did you never stop to think of whom our President may have been speaking before pouncing and calling him (and the rest of us) "racist" -- a blanket statement.
I am also a genealogist and a historian. I have joined many genealogical organizations back to the Magna Charta and the Mayflower Society and that included the United Daughters of the Confederacy (only 3 generations back. We are Southerners, you know). Yet my newest book, On to Angola, is on Black history and the tragedy of slavery.
The monument of Robert E. Lee that the Klan gathered around in Charlottesville was probably built by widows and descendants of those who served and died in the Civil War. Among those gathered probably included little old ladies of the United Daughters of the Confederacy who merely honored their ancestors and their sacrifice to their state by expressing their concern about taking down the statue. They realize and acknowledge that it was not just state’s rights that motivated the war but the issue of slavery that they also now abhor. Those ladies who hated to see the monument destroyed would also have approved of the fact that the war ended slavery in our wonderful country though it remains a cancer that still exists today in other countries.
I imagine Trump, in his visits to Virginia to his vineyard, has met some of those ladies and it was to them he said, "Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists, by any stretch. Those people were also there because they wanted to protest the taking down of a statue, Robert E. Lee."
I say, "Thank you, Mr. President."

Why do people still revere Robert E. Lee? Partly because of the honorable way he guided the South at the END of the war. To go home in Peace and to mend the nation he had served so honorably after he graduated from West Point and went into the United States Army. His own home became the National Burial Ground, ARLINGTON. He became the president Washington and Lee University.
When the President said there was that there was fault on both sides and that there were good people there on both sides. He acknowledged a complicated issue. Unfortunately, there were people there wanting to fight, so the real issues got lost in the heat.
He said, "There were people in that rally. I looked the night before. If you look, they were people protesting very quietly the taking down the statue of Robert E. Lee. I am sure in that group there were some bad ones. The following day, it looked like they had some rough, bad people, neo-Nazis, white nationalists, whatever you want to call them. But you had a lot of people in that group that were there to innocently protest and very legally protest.” Simply protesting the taking down of a statue.

Having the president simply acknowledge the fact that not everyone on the Save the Monument side were neo-Nazis and White nationalists, but people who don’t think making America generic and/or appreciating and learning from our history is worth standing up for, doesn’t make him an evil man. Indeed, we bemoan all the historic monuments ISIS has defaced that are now lost from history.
I heard a Black University of Virginia History professor espouse the same belief about preserving the monuments. His idea, and I agree, was to make each monument into a teachable moment with signs elaborating on the History and the individual in light of current understanding.
Have you impressed Mika with your lack of a backbone?

You are becoming skilled in Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Especially these:
11. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
Exactly what these Leftist Radicals are trying to do.
13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
I have been asked why so many of Trump's foibles don't make me turn against him. There are things much more important than a stripper's tale, or locker room talk -- behavior in which I am sure the high and mighty Joe Scarborough would never participate.
At least he remains true to his word. He is attempting to follow through on what he promised. He is what he is. And that is true to those of us who elected him.
What about you?
Respectfully,
A Deplorable
