Dana McCain and Katie Britt: Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals and Pelosi's WRAP IT UP SMEAR

 

I am appalled at Dana McCain's character assassination of Roy Moore and Mo Brooks, both Republicans, like she claims to be. It was done with enough snide and spiteful rhetoric to make it appealing to those who opposed them and humorous enough to those DEEP STATE REPUBLICANS who claim to be part of the Conservative Right, but think religion ought to stay in the closet.  And, since she is now a recognized "opinion journalist" her words had clout with those who had enough faith in her that her demonization of Roy Moore gave us Doug Jones.  

She did not do it alone. Katie Britt helped. But, I must point out to the AL.com readers that it was done with Alinsky's Rules for Radicals tactics. 

3. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

  Since US Senate race frontrunner Katie Britt declined to participate in a debate, the Mo Brooks campaign has checked down to not-so-subtle sexism in desperation. You can agree or disagree with her decision, but most political practitioners worth their salt would advise her to skip it at this point. 

   If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! McCain played the sexist card and knew what she was doing! What is wrong with Mo Brooks asking for a debate on the issues? That doesn't sound sexist to me. It is the label McCain put on it, a great weapon now for nasty women to use. What counter does a gentleman have?

  • I, a college-educated Republican woman, am disgusted by her mockery. By her claim to be the only intellectual in the room because she is "college-educated" she intentionally demeans other women who support Moore and Mo, and also vote.

  Is Katie Britt equipped, as former CEO of the Business Council of Alabama, to debate these issues?  If Shelby was part of the Deep State, if McConnell is part of the Deep State, will Katie Britt have the courage to resist succumbing to their influence? 

“If the mere allegation, the mere assertion of an allegation, a refuted allegation from 36 years ago is enough to destroy a person’s life and career, we will have abandoned the basic principles of fairness and due process that define our legal system and our country,” Brett Kavanaugh said after the attack on his character.

The precedent for Kavanaugh's attack and destroy mission was laid with the character assassination of Roy Moore. Like Kavanaugh, something about the character of Judge Moore set the Left (and DEEP STATE REPUBLICANS) off. So they set out to demolish a good reputation. And Dana McCain led the charge.

Apparently Roy Moore's support of the Ten Commandments garnered pure rage on the Left (and Near Left aka DEEP STATE REPUBLICANS). Now, you tell me the Left is not rallying AGAINST traditional values of our country. So much so that promoting lies is not beyond them, and sadly conservatives are gullible enough to fall victim to their propaganda. 

Do you see where the "Idiot of the Week" is standing? In front of the Ten Commandments.  What do you think God will say about that on Judgment Day? Where were Britt and McCain? Providing the eggs to throw at the man supporting Christianity or as McCain put it "a creepy, business-killing culture warrior."

Just as they did with Roy Moore, opponents searched for Resist Movement candidates willing to come forward to lodge a complaint against Kavanaugh, preferably of a sexual nature because they are the hardest to prove, especially without a place or a time, as far back as possible and bring it forward in a crucial race. And in the Kavanaugh case, just as in the campaign of personal destruction against Moore, they used a yearbook as well, falsified in Moore's case.  That character assassination got Doug Jones elected. And now Doug Jones, who McCain and Britt helped elect, supports mob rule.

Sexual accusations worked pretty well when Potiphar's wife accused Joseph of sexual assault. But, God made something meant for evil into something Good. Perhaps the public will become aware of the mean spirited, hateful, methodology of those with this Socialist agenda. They believe the ends justifies the means. Read Animal Farm, Brave New World, 1984 -- amazingly prophetic!.

Now we are able to see their Modus Operandi. How many ruined lives does it take to identify the technique. It is a scorched earth policy. 

The fact that the Washington Post, the source for many of these accusations, has as one of its major reporters someone who is in cahoots with George Soros to promote Soros' agenda, ought to give one pause about jumping to assumptions about Roy Moore. That WP reporter wrote about Kavanaugh and Moore. She, and Soros, realized the importance of that one vote.

And one should also remember that none of us should be acting as judge and jury of someone else based on simple allegations. The story of Potiphar's wife's accusations against Joseph should be a case in point for Christians.

The Radical Left  won the propaganda battle in Alabama between Roy Moore and Doug Jones with the help of Dana McCain and Katie Britt. 

But none could possibly have been more vituperative than what Dana McCain wrote about Roy Moore and Mo Brooks in her article on AL.com Jan. 10, 2022, 8:04 a.m.  Dana Hall McCain: Mo Brooks wants to talk about Roy Moore. McCain must be vying for the Queen of Nasty award. 

Just as I predicted in 2017, Doug Jones stood with the Democrats in everything from Tax cuts to Kavanaugh.

Roy Moore? That man had proven his mettle. Now, I have met Roy Moore and I was impressed with this man who actually served his country in the military. Where did Katie Britt serve? Business Council of Alabama president? A lobbyist. Where did Dana McCain serve?

After graduating from West Point, he served in the U.S. Military as an M.P. and was a company commander during the Vietnam War. After graduating from the University of Alabama, where did Katie Britt serve? In a law firm, then as deputy campaign manager and public relations director and then as Chief of Staff for Richard Shelby. Where did Dana McCain serve?  

Moore had a resume filled with public service. 

Now, by her vituperative writing against Moore and her vehement endorsement for Doug Jones, Dana McCain automatically aligned herself with this agenda of personal destruction. She and Britt successfully turned innocent until proven guilty on its head. Now a mere accusation makes a man guilty.  

Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii insists that the accuser  “needs to be believed,” and that men need to “just shut up and step up.”  Is that also the belief system of these Christian Republicans? 

Just a reminder -- Roy Moore would have been "standing in the gap" for us. That vote mattered during the Trump years. 

Alinsky Rules for Radicals no. 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. 

Dana McCain ridiculed Mo Brooks for his support of Roy Moore, accused him of "sexism" and in the process revealed an arrogance and meanness of a nasty woman. Maybe, like for Ashley Judd, Nasty Woman is a feminist accolade 

Also, Doug Jones supported the nationalized curriculum known as COMMON CORE that I call child abuse on our children! But so did Katie Britt, through her lobbying for the Business Council. Their stand was to urge senators NOT to co-sponsor legislation to repeal Common Core standards.

If the Right to Life mattered to you and a baby in the womb deserves your protection, Doug Jones does not even believe in protecting the life of the unborn after 20 weeks! And this was what Britt and McCain supported through their demonization of Roy Moore. 

President Bill Clinton announced on August 18, 1997, his intent to appoint Jones as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama, and formally nominated Jones to the post on September 2, 1997. He is a Bill Clinton Democrat.

Now the stuff of the accusations against Roy Moore were merely accusations. There is no proof of those accusations except what appears to be a forged yearbook and many questions about the "testimony" forty years later of the other accusers.

It is time for us to realize there is a serious spiritual and culture war going on in our country. Don't think the Enemy will not seek to search out liars and those so politically involved that they can be convinced that their agenda makes the ends justify the means. 

Especially when it means money to help them buy a new SUV which is a part of some of the stories coming out of Gadsden regarding those who accuse Roy Moore.

The manager of that Mall refutes the supposed "evidence" that Moore was banned from the Mall. Let's get off our high horse and get upset about jumping on the bandwagon like they did in California about those people that destroyed the lives of those day care owners and workers that were falsely accused by children under the influence of a psychologist or the lives of the Lacrosse players!

Do you recognize their Modus Operandi now? 

1. Enlist them in an elaborate ruse to frame the innocent.
2. Have those one has enlisted in this ruse to publicly and falsely lodge false accusation.
3. Continue the attacks to totally eliminate our country's most faithful servants.
4. Is their purpose to eventually eliminate the faithful servants of God in public service?

And now, Katie Britt's mother, Debra Byrd, a friend of Dana McCain's, is starting a new Republican Women's Club, The Wiregrass Republican Women's Club.  Why? Because many in the Coffee County Republican Women's Club and Houston County Republican Women supported the conservative, the tried and true Mo Brooks. Katie Britt will be their first speaker. Divide and conquer.

What will Katie's stand on education be? The same as the Business Council of which she once was president and major lobbyist, I imagine. They promoted Common Core.

She should add that she also has a very low tolerance for Truth. But she does stick by her friends. I wonder if we will see McCain become Britt's Public Relations manager in her new office. 

This old, not yet brain dead college educated Republican woman thinks a serious cross-over vote and a war chest from DEEP STATE REPUBLICANS got Katie Britt elected in the runoff where cross-over voting is allowed. Still, I will be voting straight Republican because at least Britt will support three things that I believe in: right to life, securing and defending our borders, and putting Alabama first. 

I will not do as McCain and Britt did when they voted for a Democrat-- and then proclaimed moral superiority to a man mocked for supporting the Ten Commandments or ridicule a man who supported that godly man.

I personally believe Jesus will be coming soon. Like Jonah was sent to Ninevah, I believe Roy Moore was also sent. Those who have belittled and betrayed him will have a lot to answer for. I can imagine the same tactics were used against Jonah when God called him to tell Ninevah it was time to repent. McCain and Britt managed to "rid us of that troublesome" man and now they will stand accountable.  

By the way, I did vote for Roy Moore. McCain and Britt are younger that is true, but I am not brain damaged and I am college-educated. And I am reminding Britt and McCain how easily they "shed the values that make us who we are in a pinch."

Interesting side note: After mentioning Jonah and Ninevah, I did a YouTube search and discovered that Ninevah was a very large very sophisticated city in Assyria with quite educated people of their day. They had a written language and a library. According to the rabbi that I listened to, the King said that the people (and animals) should don ashcloth, repent and humble themselves. According to that rabbi, there was one person who survived crossing the Red Sea when the war chariots were destroyed by Moses. It was the Pharaoh. He had experience with God's prophets and he did not want to make the same mistake. So God did not destroy Ninevah much to Jonah's displeasure.

In The Aggadah

Nineveh was a huge city, covering 40 square parasangs and containing a million and a half persons. The "six score thousand persons" alluded to in Jonah 4:11 refer to the population of only one of the 12 districts into which the city was divided. The voice of the prophet Jonah was so stentorian that it reached every corner of the city and all who heard his words resolved to turn aside from their ungodly ways (Mid. Jonah, 99–100, in A. Jellinek, Beit ha-Midrash, 1 (19382)). Under the leadership of their king, the people of Nineveh justly compelled God's mercy to descend upon them. The king of Nineveh was the pharaoh of the Exodus, who had been installed by the angel Gabriel. Seized with fear and terror he covered himself with sackcloth and ashes and with his own mouth made proclamation and published this decree through Nineveh: "Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock taste anything, let them not feed nor drink water, for know that there is no God beside Him in all the world; all His words are truth, and all His judgments are true and faithful" (Yal. Ex. 176). The repentance of the people of Nineveh was sincere. They held their infants heavenward, crying, "For the sake of these innocent babes hear our prayers." They separated the young of their cattle from their dams and both began to bellow. Then the Ninevites cried, "If Thou wilt not have mercy on us, we will not have mercy upon these beasts" (Ta'an. 16a; Mid. Jonah 100–2). The penitence of the people of Nineveh manifested itself not only in fasting and praying, but also in deeds. If a man had usurped another's property, he would return it, even at the cost of leveling his castle in order to restore a stolen beam to its owner (Ta'an. 16a). Others publicly confessed their secret sins and declared themselves willing to submit to their punishment. According to the Palestinian amoraim, however, the repentance of the Ninevites was not sincere (tj, Ta'an. 2:1, 65b). After 40 days they departed again from the path of piety and became more sinful than ever. Then the punishment foretold by Jonah overtook them and they were swallowed by the earth (pdre 43). The attitude of the Palestinian aggadists in their evaluation of the repentance of the Ninevites may have been a reaction to Christian criticism of the Jews for their stubbornness in not following the example set by the people of Nineveh.

 And so, I become a "creepy culture warrior" like Roy Moore and Mo Brooks. I cannot think of better company.
